Media Alert Service

Through the support of the Open Society Foundation of South Africa the Institute offers members of the media access to many of the same services, resources, and reports as it offers to its corporate subscribers. Members of the media can subscribe electronically to this Media Alert Service by completing the form below. By subscribing to the service you will by email receive access to all Institute statements, policy papers, and reports. You will also be invited free of charge to all Institute events. You will also receive regular newsletters updating the contact details of the Institute’s research experts. You are encouraged to contact them directly to assist you in sourcing data or comment for any reports you are writing or editing on South Africa. The Institute offers this service to save you time and provide you with resources not available to short staffed newsrooms working on tight deadlines.
